Senior Scrum Master - Product-Oriented Delivery

The Senior Scrum Master will play a key role in implementing the long-term strategy across the business, helping product teams deliver better products in a faster, more efficient manner.
Portfolio Management Office (PMO.) This position supports critical business initiatives within our finance and actuarial organization. The selected candidate will handle the successful planning and execution of assigned projects.
Supports the administration of global payroll processing. Ensure interaction and process flow, procedures are accurately executed with the payroll provider.

Senior Scrum Master with an emphasis on product-oriented delivery
Job Type: Full-Time Contract. Right to Hire.
Location: Onsite in Piscataway, NJ at least 3 days per week. First one month all days onsite.
Scope of Job: The Senior Scrum Master will play a key role in implementing the long-term strategy across the business, helping product teams deliver better products in a faster, more efficient manner. Responsibilities: Help the IT organization in its journey from a waterfall to a product-oriented delivery organization. Partner with Product Owner and other key stakeholders to ensure transparency into product delivery progress, challenges, and risks. Represent the team at broader planning and coordination sessions (e.g., Scrum of Scrums). Independently lead the scrum team to improve collaboration and promote healthy interactions within the team and with external stakeholders. Provide mentorship to Junior Scrum Masters and occasionally serve as an Agile Coach for low to medium-complexity Scrum teams. Champion the use of metrics and other objective measures by the team. Undertake daily follow-ups with individual team members to ensure the goals are being met. Maintain objectivity regarding issues and how to troubleshoot them by applying agile principles. Support team in determining resource allocations to maintain agile practices and ensure smooth value delivery. Required Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master. Proven track record of implementing agile techniques in different work cultures and environments. Experience leading product-based delivery teams of varying size and complexity, including in a scaled Agile organization. Strong skills for leading, educating, and coaching. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies. Education & Certifications: Certification as scrum master or higher. Scaled Agile certification is highly desirable.
